From another side, many of Elie\u2019s friends had been thinking the last three years that if he would witness what we are witnessing after October 7th in the matter of unprecedented, screaming moral decline it could affect him really badly and it would wound him enormously. \u201c&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essay commemorates Inna and Michael Rogatchi\u2019s precious personal relations with Elie Wiesel and the unique experience such relations has provided for both Inna and Michael Rogatchi personally and the motivation and strive their work, including the one by The Rogatchi Foundation has received as an ongoing impulse from the enlightened Elie\u2019s personality: \u201c<em>Michael and I were very privileged to know Elie Wiesel for more than twenty years, and he has become a very important part of our world. Quite often we have been placing his books into the context of the circumstances and episodes&nbsp; of his life which have become the source of everything he wrote, and what he was keeping mostly for himself , due to his character, and spoke about it rarely. \u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Elie Wiesel\u2019s passing, Michael and Inna Rogatchi and The Rogatchi Foundation have created a special project, Special Elie Wiesel Art Collection, consisting of both Michael and Inna\u2019s collections of their artworks dedicated to the great humanist.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As described in Inna\u2019s essay: <em>\u201cThinking about the 10th anniversary of Elie\u2019s passing, we thought of producing a special art collection of our works which had been inspired or dedicated to him, and which have direct references to his life and world. This is how <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.michaelrogatchi.com\/my-train-the-elie-wiesel-special-collection\/\"><em>My Train <\/em><\/a><em>and <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/innarogatchiart.com\/?page_id=1965\"><em>Night-Day-Night <\/em><\/a><em>Elie Wiesel Special Commemorative Art Collection was born.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Each of us contributed ten artworks to the Elie Wiesel Special&nbsp; Collection. Homage to Elie Wiesel. 2019. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;At the time of the 10th anniversary of the great writer\u2019s death, the question of Elie Wiesel\u2019s legacy today and tomorrow came to light. <em>\u201c For several decades, the world was thinking along these lines.
