The exhibition is 15-pieces collection of poetic works featuring Florence history, its architecture, Tuscany landscapes, and the place’s unique atmosphere.

The collection is the result of Dr Rogatchi’s almost twenty years of research, and five years of actual photographing of Florence and Tuscany. The exhibition in Florence is a part of Inna Rogatchi’s larger Florence and Tuscany collection. Speaking on why Florence is such a special place for her, Inna Rogatchi says:

“There is no other place on earth with such an immense concentration of creative energy and its results as Florence. It ‘charges’ you generously, and here Time does not whisper, but talks to you, aloud and naturally.”

Some of the works have been done with a unique technique providing the impression of the old-time original etchings.

In depicting Florence and Tuscany, Inna Rogatchi applied ‘a pastel-like’ artistic approach and resolution. “If I was asked to characterise all the wonders of Tuscany in just one word, my choice would be ‘gentleness’. And it seems to me that never is beauty more appealing and memorable than when it is gentle and delicate, as it is in Botticelli’s style and understanding,” – says the author.

The Essential in Spirit: Firenze collection is complimented by the author’s highlights and musical art video.

The exhibition will be on display until mid-January 2013.

Inna Rogatchi’s new exhibition Essential in Spirit: Firenze has been opened in Florence, at Palazzo Giofi-Jacometti (Relais Santa Croce).
