Leading English-Language Newspaper of the Baltic Region Covers Michael Rogatchi’s Forthcoming Exhibition in Vilnius as Their Major News

The BALTIC TIMES, leading English-language newspaper of the Baltic region has covered Michael Rogatchi’s forthcoming Jewish Melody exhibition in Vilnius as their major news story:

The exhibition, which is a part of the official programme of the IV World Litvak Congress, is due to be opened at the Vilnius Jewish Public Library on September 25th, 2013 and will be on display there until December 1st, 2013.

Jewish Melody is the only solo art exhibition in the Congress programme, and Michael is among a very few foreign artists among many foreign participants of the Congress who has been invited to participate there with his art.

The news about Michael Rogatchi’s forthcoming exhibition has evoked a big interest in Lithuania and internationally, with the leading Lithuanian art historian, Professor Algirdas Gaizutis commenting on it in the following way: “They tune as a peculiar Jewish melody raised here and fused with the very essence of the human existence”.

The other comment on Michael’s original art series came from the USA:

“Michael Rogatchi’s Jewish Melody series is absolutely extraordinary. What a superb and wonderful gift to the Litvak Congress and Vilna”, said Dr Judith Wolf from Boston, formerly a long-serving vice president of NCSJ (The US National Committee for the Soviet Jewry).
