Rogatchi Foundation has participated in the International conference addressing Anti-Semitism in the OSCE Region, on February 10-11,2025 in Helsinki. The annual OSCE conference was organised by the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs within the framework of Finland’s chairmanship in the OSCE in 2025, marking the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Accord.

The conference in Helsinki was highly representative and was attended by about 200 high representatives of the 57 OSCE states, international institutions and organisations, including the EC High Representative on Jewish Life Ms Katharina von Schnurbein, Director of the EU Fundamental Human Rights Sirpa Rautio, the US Special Envoy Ellen Germain,  Rt Hon Lord Eric Pickles, the UK Special Envoy on Post Holocaust Issues, Germany’s Federal Commissioner for Jewish Life Dr Felix Klein.

During two days of discussions, the focus was on the alarming situation with the current state of massively spread anti-Semitism in the wake of the October 7th terrorist attack, and what corresponding governments and relevant international organisations can and should do to confront it and to defend fundamental human rights of  Jewish people in the OSCE region.

The Conference concluded by the national and participating organisations official statements which are deposited at the OSCE official database. The Rogatchi Foundation statement can be found here
