MICHAEL & INNA ROGATCHI DONATED THE ART COLLECTION TO THE HELSINKI JEWISH COMMUNITY
On September 13th, 2017 Michael and Inna Rogatchi have handed their special celebrative art donation to Yaron Nadbornik, the chairman of the Jewish Community of Helsinki. The donation has been made at the time especially designated for charity, one week prior to the Jewish New Year, and it has been done in the name and in memory of the Michael and Inna Rogatchi’s families, Reiss-Litowsky-Rogatchi and Chigrinsky-Elovitch-Bujanover.

Michael and Inna Rogatchi handed to the chairman of the Jewish community of Helsinki Yaron Nadbornik ten museum-quality art replicas of the famous Michael’s Forefathers series portraying the Patriarchs and the Matriarchs – more detail on the donation is here. The works will be divided between the community Club premises and Sara-House for Elderly. The Rogatchi Foundation also handed to the leadership of the Helsinki Jewish community their donation letter and the certificates of the authenticity for all donated works.

Yaron Nadbornik, the community Administrative director Anne Moilanen, and Ruth Jakobson, the writer for the Ha-Kehilah magazine of the Helsinki Jewish community all did express their deep gratitude for the art works to adore the premises of the community and the house for elderly. The donation ceremony was adorned with magnificent hand-made cake and coffee in the warm and friendly atmosphere.

Michael and Inna Rogatchi and The Rogatchi Foundation are glad to express our happiness over the fact that the Michael’s art on the Jewish theme and its heroes will live on the walls of the two important Jewish institutions in Finland.
