Ukraine Student Awarded by the Rogatchi Foundation has Become a Student of a World-Famous School in Jerusalem

Rachel Rudovsky, a student from Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, who had been twice awarded with The Rogatchi Foundation Stipends, has become a student of a world famous educational establishment in Israel, Machon Shoshanat Yerushalayim. Being a resident of the pension for girls that is run by the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish Community and the Tzivos Hashem international organisation providing education for Jewish children world-wide, Rachel has been a devoted student which has impressed her teachers as ‘brilliant’. She was voted as the best student a few years in consequence, and The Rogatchi Foundation has been very happy to support this talented and hard-working girl.

Rachel has been interested in both general studies and in the special directions of Jewish history and traditions. She has become a winner of several modern and difficult international contests, and thus has evoked attention by the highly reputed school in Jerusalem. Rachel is a very graceful and thoughtful girl, and she seemed to overcome many difficulties on her way to Jerusalem. Characteristically, she did it in a distinctively dignified way, and in a happy turn of events, Rachel’s efforts have been noticed and responded to accordingly. Importantly, Machon Shoshanat Yerushalayim. is teaching and preparing girls who will become female emissaries of the Lubavitch movement all over the world.

There hardly could be better news for Rachel, and everyone who has and is supporting her and her school- and pension-mates, on the eve of Rosh Ha-Shanah, the Jewish New Year 5774.
