Inna Rogatchi Artwork is an Artistic Prize at the Grigory Kanovich Republican Annual Award in Lithuania

Inna Rogatchi’s specially created Shavuot Windows II ( 2024) original artwork has become the artistic prize for the laureate of the Grigory Kanovich Republican Literary Award 2024. The artist was invited to create the Award by the Literary Prize Committee earlier in 2024.

 The laureate of the Award this year has become well-known Lithuanian writer Danute Kalinuskaite.

The Award ceremony took place at the Grigory Kanovich Public Library of Jonava Municipality on September 12th, 2024, in the presence of the member of the Lithuanian parliament, Seimas, representatives of the Jonava municipality, patrons of the Grigory Kanovich Public Library, publishers, artists, musicians, guests and public. The ceremony was part of the annual European Days of Jewish Culture, with the theme of Family for 2024.

The Days were celebrated in Jonava in many multi-disciplinary events, including the inaugural exhibition of Michael and Inna Rogatchi Shtetl Stories and Memories collection, very good concert by Duetissimo duet, special memorial installation at the Jonava Museum, Shtetl History new exhibition at the museum, and the others.
