The Rogatchi Foundation has a pleasure to mention that the President of Israel H.E. Isaac Herzog has personally commended Inna Rogatchi’s recent June Birthdays: Reflections on Love and Humanity essay published in mid-June 2025 at the Times of Israel.

The essay is dedicated to several outstanding Jewish personalities, such as M.C. Eschel, Anna Frank, and Simon Wiesenthal, and includes the new material of Inna Rogatchi’s art history research. It also draws the parallels between the sense of history, compassion for human beings and humanity, and its reflections in certain works of art, in an amazing coincidence in vision over an 80 years path of time. It reflects also on the open wound inflicted by October 7th and its dreadful consequences.

In his personal letter, the President of Israel H.E. Isaac Herzog thanked Inna for her ‘illuminating essay, and moving personal and artistic perspective”.
We are deeply appreciative to Mr President for his very kind attention, and expressing our profound gratitude for this inspiring and graceful gesture.
