The Rogatchi Foundation is glad to inform that Michael and Inna Rogatchi artworks have been selected to be exhibited at The Art Basel 2026, the major annual world art event.
Among Michael Rogatchi’s works, there are the artist’s homages to iconic culture figures from the past and present and to the world of music. His Kiss Me diptych ( 2020) is the artist’s homage to Tom Waits and is named after one of Waits most beautiful ballades. It is inventive, original, modern, reflective and dynamic work at the same time.
Etude in Purple ( 2017) is an artist’s homage to music in general and its unique bond with the human soul. The work belongs to a notable European private collection.
Michael Rogatchi’s Homage to van Gogh ( Reminiscence), is the artist’s tribute to Vincent van Gogh. This unusual and highly artistic and reflective work has been widely and successfully exhibited internationally.
Among Inna Rogatchi’s works to be exhibited at the Art Basel 2026, there is also homage, and nature world artistic meditations. One of the works is Inna’s new homage to Johannes Vermeer from her ongoing HOMAGES Project. The work belongs to a notable private collection in the USA.
From a Vermeer Window ( 2026) work has been characterised by one of the utmost world authorities on Vermeer, Dr Arthur K. Wheelock Jr. in the following way: “ Inna Rogatchi’s From a Vermeer Window. Homage to Johannes Vermeer ( 2026 ) work captures so many Vermeer-like elements in it, from perspective to color to the pervasive motif of windows in his paintings, yet Inna combines them in ways that provide a new vision of Vermeer’s works.” ( 2026).
The Opening ( 2025) work is a philosophical artistic meditation in the mental space that interconnects bustling daily life and the still and private moments of reflections, routine and poetry, well-known and used paths and new horizons. The work belongs to a notable private collection in Austria.
Inna’s third artistic meditative work will have its debut at the Art Basel 2026. Dreaming Blue ( 2025) is a fine modern poetic landscape from the artist’s POEMS collection.
During Art Basel 2026, the works by Michael and Inna Rogatchi will be exhibited both at the VIPs & Preview events on June 16-17th, and at the public events on June 18 -21st at Messe Basel in Basel, Switzerland.
