Zarasai County Museum in Lithuania has kindly published news about the Foundation’s donation of Michael and Inna Rogatchi’s homages to Yehuda Pen, the great artist and essentially important teacher of Marc Chagall and many other outstanding Litvak artists from the School de Paris, that all has started from the School de Vitebsk.
Michael’s Swallow Waltz ( 2025) and Inna’s Memories II ( 2025) , which now can be seen at the museum’s education centre, will be displayed permanently at the Yehuda Pen room from October 2026 onward, in creation of a dialogue with a unique and greatly important for entire modern art figure from the view, feelings and context of the current time.

“This gift is not only an addition to our collection, but also an international recognition that the memory of Yehuda Pen is being cherished in Zarasai. It encourages us to take an even more active interest in his creative legacy and to look for new ways to present this outstanding personality to the public,” says Arvydas Veikšra, director of the Zarasai Regional Museum.
